Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Gelu Zubaşcu made the kick off which started today's match. 11 minutes into the match, Zoicarul's goal looked a bit too open when Gelu Zubaşcu came free, but Șerban Armanca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gelu Zubaşcu in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Șerban Armanca saved Zoicarul from getting behind. Gheorghe Floruțiu's late challenge caught a Alexandri's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gheorghe Floruțiu helped the player get up and apologised. Șerban Armanca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gelu Zubaşcu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zoicarul's Șerban Armanca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gelu Zubaşcu in the 25th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Codruț Gâlcă managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zoicarul's supporters rose to their feet, but Codruț Gâlcă was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gică Constantinescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zoicarul were awarded a corner in the 45th minute after Alexandri's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gheorghe Floruțiu took the corner. After taking down the ball on Zoicarul's corner Gheorghe Floruțiu fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Gică Constantinescu quite easily take care of the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Codruț Gâlcă to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Aurelian Berechet managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alexandri's supporters rose to their feet, but Aurelian Berechet was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Șerban Armanca breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 59 minutes into the match, Alexandri's goal looked a bit too open when Gelu Juverdeanu came free, but Gică Constantinescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 61st match minute, Zoicarul was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Octavian Șora to maneuver through the defense. In the 62nd minute of the match Manuel Spirea sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Șerban Armanca skillfully saved the ball. After 67 minutes of play Zoicarul's Gheorghe Floruțiu was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Zoicarul's Gheorghe Floruțiu got a free kick in the 68th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Mircea Buricea managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alexandri's supporters rose to their feet, but Mircea Buricea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thanks to some nice moves Mircea Buricea could shoot a difficult shot in the 78th minute, which Șerban Armanca however easily saved by the left post. In the 79th minute Alexandri were awarded a corner. Manuel Spirea went to the cornerflag to take it. Manuel Spirea made a great header on Alexandri's corner, it was just that Zoicarul's Șerban Armanca managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 81st minute Gelu Juverdeanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gică Constantinescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gelu Juverdeanu in the 96th minute of play forced Alexandri's goalkeeper Gică Constantinescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
