Spectators: 6430 (Terracing: 4900, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 30) 7 minutes into the match, AC MILAN's goal looked a bit too open when Rareș Proca came free, but Anton Cerghizan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Piratas's Victor Deleanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Petru Negruț in the 9th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Petru Negruț's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Victor Deleanu was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. After 12 minutes, Adrian Strugure mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Piratas and the AC MILAN players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Piratas getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Adrian Strugure hit a great ball. If Mădălin Tărău had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gheorghe Corcoveanu's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Anton Cerghizan firmly grabbed it by the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rareș Proca in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anton Cerghizan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 36thth minute of the game Rareș Proca who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AC MILAN's Anton Cerghizan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Petru Negruț's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Victor Deleanu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Rareș Proca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Petru Negruț was the one to do the kick off. Flavius Dinescu kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. 55 minutes into the game, Mădălin Tărău cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Victor Deleanu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mădălin Tărău fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victor Deleanu having to interfere. After 63 played minutes AC MILAN got a freekick which was hit by Ionică Cosariu. Anton Cerghizan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rareș Proca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rareș Proca in the 69th minute of play forced AC MILAN's goalkeeper Anton Cerghizan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Piratas's Victor Deleanu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Piratas from getting a goal against them. Mădălin Tărău received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Victor Deleanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Petru Negruț might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Victor Deleanu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Petru Negruț ran back to his position shaking his head. Anton Cerghizan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rareș Proca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Iustin Urmaticu during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Piratas getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Iustin Bădiliță hit a great ball. Mădălin Tărău could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Victor Deleanu made a huge save. After 96 played minutes Piratas got a freekick which was hit by Iustin Urmaticu. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
