Piratas's Victor Deleanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Doru Arvinte in the 4th minute of play. 5 minutes into the match, Piratas's goal looked a bit too open when Leonard Bucuță came free, but Victor Deleanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Doru Arvinte's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Victor Deleanu was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. Cristinel Hârțan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Victor Deleanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Pogonestii CS fans' excitement grew in the 8th match minute when Pogonestii CS's Doru Arvinte looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 14 minutes into the match, Pogonestii CS's goal looked a bit too open when Rareș Proca came free, but Adam Ostoici reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leonard Bucuță sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 25th minute, Leonard Bucuță ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Victor Deleanu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After 29 minutes, Panait Țepeluș mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pogonestii CS and the Piratas players grew even worse after the yellow card. Adam Ostoici had in the 31stth minute some difficulties stopping Iustin Bădiliță's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 45th match minute, Pogonestii CS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gelu Poplăcan to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Pogonestii CS's Adam Ostoici got control of the ball when Gheorghe Corcoveanu tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Piratas players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Pogonestii CS were winning 1-2.

54 minutes into the match, Rareș Proca notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Pogonestii CS's Adam Ostoici. Adam Ostoici was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Doru Arvinte received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Victor Deleanu came out and tried to block the shot, but Doru Arvinte slotted it home off the left post making it 2-3 in the 58th minute. Cristinel Hârțan struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Victor Deleanu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pogonestii CS. Doru Arvinte in the 63rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Victor Deleanu, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Iustin Urmaticu during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 64th match minute, Piratas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iustin Urmaticu to maneuver through the defense. Victor Deleanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gelu Poplăcan in the 66th minute of play. Doru Arvinte succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-4 in the 70th playminute. 73 minutes into the game, Iustin Bădiliță was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Piratas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pogonestii CS the free kick. Iustin Bădiliță hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. After 80 minutes of play, Piratas's Iustin Urmaticu made it 3-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Adam Ostoici was left in no man's land by his defense there! Leonard Bucuță blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Victor Deleanu having to make a save. In the 86th play minute Doru Arvinte came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Victor Deleanu. 3-5. In the 92nd minute, Iustin Urmaticu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
