Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Cornel Daria kicked off to start the match. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leonard Bucuță to strike the kick off in the second half. Leonard Bucuță sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Panait Țepeluș got his second yellow card in the match during the 62nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of fcrapid booed when Pogonestii CS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Panait Țepeluș didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adam Ostoici made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Ionel Grozuță sent off a good shot on target. David Drăucean was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 68 minutes into the match. When the match had been going on for 70 minutes, fcrapid's Toader Ştefănuţ got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Adam Ostoici. Ionel Grozuță fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adam Ostoici having to interfere. After 80 minutes, Aurel Dragușin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the fcrapid and the Pogonestii CS players grew even worse after the yellow card. Claudiu Cioculescu struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Bogdan Tunaru didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pogonestii CS. The supporters of Pogonestii CS booed when fcrapid was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Horea Elefteriu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adam Ostoici took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cornel Daria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Claudiu Cioculescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pogonestii CS's supporters rose to their feet, but Claudiu Cioculescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bogdan Tunaru breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Gelu Trăilă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristinel Hârțan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
