AC MILAN's Anton Cerghizan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrian Lițiu in the 20th minute of play. 25 minutes into the game, Adrian Lițiu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Anton Cerghizan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mădălin Tărău fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Măguran having to interfere. Petru Negruț blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gabriel Măguran having to make a save. 34 minutes into the match, AC MILAN's Petru Negruț sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gabriel Măguran narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Laurențiu Văduva kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. In the 52nd minute, Burlug's Constantin Hrebenciuc ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Anton Cerghizan. After having played for 72 minutes, Adrian Lițiu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Burlug's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adrian Lițiu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Constantin Hrebenciuc sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adrian Lițiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Anton Cerghizan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nechifor Demian in the 97th minute of play forced AC MILAN's goalkeeper Anton Cerghizan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adrian Lițiu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anton Cerghizan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 99th minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Burlug left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than AC MILAN.
