FC Efervescent's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cotciul the free kick. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Calistrat Molodețiu made a kick off. The supporters of Cotciul booed when FC Efervescent was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. After a defensive mix-up in Cotciul's zone, Leontin Dascălu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sebastian Arotăriței came out of the goal and Leontin Dascălu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marin Urmaticu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Sebastian Arotăriței tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee ignored Cotciul's protests and gave Manuel Ungheanu a yellow card for diving instead. Marian Cernat kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. In the 91st minute, Codruț Potocianu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. FC Efervescent were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
