Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Ernest Tremurici started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Mihăiţă Șofran hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Ernest Tremurici managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cobweb's supporters rose to their feet, but Ernest Tremurici was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emanuel Hurgoi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 13 minutes, Nicolae Ghimiș managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cobweb's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicolae Ghimiș was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 15th minute, Nicolae Ghimiș ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Emanuel Hurgoi was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The supporters of Cobweb booed when Plesa SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moise Antonescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Răzvan Patriciu was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 20th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 29th minute of the game. One of Cobweb:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Plesa SC:s goal. In the 31st minute there was a penalty for Plesa SC. Nicolae Aldescu stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Toader Andriescu. 1-1. Nicolae Ghimiș received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Emanuel Hurgoi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Toader Andriescu managed to avoid a goal in the 41stth minute, when Plesa SC's Stelian Greblă fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A hard shot by Basarab Codrescu from long distance, 49 minutes into the match, got Toader Andriescu's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aron Loga stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Aron Loga came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Plesa SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aron Loga couldn't finish the play. After 56 played minutes Cobweb got a freekick which was hit by Vlad Vochin. 57 minutes into the game, Aron Loga cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Toader Andriescu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 62nd minute, Nicolae Aldescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ernest Tremurici fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuel Hurgoi having to interfere. If Ernest Tremurici had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Toader Andriescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stelian Greblă, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. 75 minutes into the match, Plesa SC's goal looked a bit too open when Ernest Tremurici came free, but Emanuel Hurgoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Aron Loga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stelian Greblă sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aron Loga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Toader Andriescu having to interfere. When Cobweb's Ernest Tremurici in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Plesa SC's goalie prevented a goal. Ernest Tremurici sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Plesa SC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Cobweb for a fine match.
