Spectators: 7506 (Terracing: 5630, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Sever Galușcă started the match with the kick off. Nichifor Săliştean showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicolae Ghimiș in the 4th minute of the match. After having played for 7 minutes, Ernest Tremurici managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cobweb's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ernest Tremurici was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ernest Tremurici received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Nichifor Săliştean tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 11 minutes into the match, Cobweb's Ernest Tremurici sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nichifor Săliştean narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 14 minutes into the match, Fulgerul 1976 Braila's goal looked a bit too open when Ernest Tremurici came free, but Nichifor Săliştean reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cobweb's Ernest Tremurici got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sever Galușcă kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the match, Fulgerul 1976 Braila's goal looked a bit too open when Nicolae Ghimiș came free, but Nichifor Săliştean reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nichifor Săliştean took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernest Tremurici, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nichifor Săliştean made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vlad Vochin in the 20th minute of play. Pompiliu Todericiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nichifor Săliştean having to interfere. A collision led to Fulgerul 1976 Braila getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Sever Galușcă hit a great ball. Nichifor Săliştean showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernest Tremurici, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. When Ernest Tremurici came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Cobweb fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ernest Tremurici couldn't finish the play. After 33rd play minutes Ernest Tremurici shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Nichifor Săliştean and just under the crossbar into goal. Ernest Tremurici sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nicolae Ghimiș recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Fulgerul 1976 Braila defense, Nicolae Ghimiș kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nichifor Săliştean. The Fulgerul 1976 Braila fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nichifor Săliştean should have stopped the shot. If Ernest Tremurici had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

In the 51st minute, Cobweb's Ernest Tremurici ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Nichifor Săliştean. Nichifor Săliştean yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. Ernest Tremurici sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sever Galușcă kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Ernest Tremurici sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 64 minutes in the game, Ernest Tremurici fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Nichifor Săliştean having to interfere. Nichifor Săliştean showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernest Tremurici, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Fulgerul 1976 Braila's zone, Nicolae Ghimiș stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nichifor Săliştean came out of the goal and Nicolae Ghimiș tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nichifor Săliştean made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernest Tremurici in the 68th minute of play. When Cobweb's Ernest Tremurici in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fulgerul 1976 Braila's goalie prevented a goal. After 74 played minutes Fulgerul 1976 Braila got a freekick which was hit by Sever Galușcă. Vlad Vochin charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vlad Vochin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 77 played minutes Cobweb got a freekick which was hit by Vlad Vochin. In the 80th minute Ernest Tremurici shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nichifor Săliştean saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ernest Tremurici's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nichifor Săliştean read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. Ernest Tremurici received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Nichifor Săliştean tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 91 minutes into the match, Fulgerul 1976 Braila's goalkeeper Nichifor Săliştean had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nicolae Ghimiș. Cobweb's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
