Spectators: 7506 (Terracing: 5630, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 150) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Virgil Sărăroiu made the kick off which started today's match. Super Nova's Cosmin Blăjan got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 8 minutes, Filip Bernea mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the NLC Stars and the Super Nova players grew even worse after the yellow card. Filip Bernea kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. NLC Stars's Virgil Sărăroiu got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 28th minute there was a penalty for Super Nova. Valentin Iacobeanu stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Andréas Nordal. 1-1. Andréas Nordal came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Super Nova's Maxim Vuşcan. But to his dismay, Maxim Vuşcan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. After 36 played minutes Super Nova got a freekick which was hit by Calistrat Afloarei. In the 40th minute, Maxim Vuşcan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Virgil Sărăroiu came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the NLC Stars fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Virgil Sărăroiu couldn't finish the play. In the 46th minute, Valentin Iacobeanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Maxim Vuşcan made a kick off. Sergiu Panescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dorin Pânzaru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Filip Mereuță had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 60th minute, Gică Câmpeanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Valentin Iacobeanu hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Aron Gane hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. If Filip Mereuță had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Dorin Pânzaru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. NLC Stars's Virgil Sărăroiu suffered a sore thigh after 76 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Cristi Tiberiu's late challenge caught a NLC Stars's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristi Tiberiu helped the player get up and apologised. In the 77th minute, Cristi Tiberiu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Filip Mereuță recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Maxim Vuşcan came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Super Nova fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maxim Vuşcan couldn't finish the play. Sergiu Panescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dorin Pânzaru's shot from short distance in the 96th minute.
