Sergiu Ceaușu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 20 minutes into the match, Sochi's goal looked a bit too open when Aron Brad came free, but Sergiu Ceaușu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Aron Brad's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sergiu Ceaușu was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. Sergiu Ceaușu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Augustin Gurzău in the 29th minute. Aron Brad ran back to his position shaking his head. Sergiu Ceaușu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aron Brad in the 45th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Andrei Lupoaia was the one to do the kick off. The audience was convinced that Aron Brad's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sergiu Ceaușu was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling David Buzoianu in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sergiu Ceaușu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When C.S. Lia Herghe's Aron Brad in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sochi's goalie prevented a goal. David Buzoianu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emanuel Bunescu hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. After taking down the ball on C.S. Lia Herghe's corner Costel Creteanu fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Sergiu Ceaușu quite easily take care of the ball. Andrei Lupoaia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Eric Marin made a huge save. Andrei Lupoaia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eric Marin having to interfere. Aron Brad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Sergiu Ceaușu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, David Buzoianu managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.S. Lia Herghe's supporters rose to their feet, but David Buzoianu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sergiu Ceaușu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 86thth minute of the game Aron Brad who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sochi's Sergiu Ceaușu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, David Buzoianu managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.S. Lia Herghe's supporters rose to their feet, but David Buzoianu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sergiu Ceaușu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 90th minute, Alin Buricea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Sochi booed when C.S. Lia Herghe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aron Brad didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Dinu Ciulei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. C.S. Lia Herghe fully deserved thier win.
