George Durbacă could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Florin Petrescu made a huge save. After 25 played minutes Argestru CS got a freekick which was hit by Florin Lupu. The Argestru CS fans' excitement grew in the 28th match minute when Argestru CS's Marian Graur looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristian Săvoiu in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Florin Petrescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 37thth minute of the game Marian Graur who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rapido FC's Petruț Măguran was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Petruț Măguran came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Argestru CS's Marian Graur. But to his dismay, Marian Graur quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 43rd minute, George Durbacă ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Florin Petrescu was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marian Graur stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Florin Lupu notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Rapido FC's Petruț Măguran. Petruț Măguran was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Florin Lupu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Rapido FC's zone, Marian Graur stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Petruț Măguran came out of the goal and Marian Graur tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cristian Săvoiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Argestru CS's Marian Graur slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Petruț Măguran. That made the score 2-4 after 70 minutes of play. Stelian Cudalb kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. If Marian Graur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Florin Lupu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petruț Măguran having to interfere. 85 minutes into the match, Argestru CS's Marian Graur sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Petruț Măguran narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Petruț Măguran made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Florin Lupu sent off a good shot on target. With his leg Petruț Măguran managed to avoid a goal in the 89thth minute, when Argestru CS's Florin Lupu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marian Graur in the 90th minute of play forced Rapido FC's goalkeeper Petruț Măguran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Marian Graur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 96th minute of the match Nichifor Voineag shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Petruț Măguran showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Argestru CS's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
