Basarab Minculescu hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Mihnea Macamete made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aron Brad in the 5th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Augustin Gurzău got free with Mihnea Macamete in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mihnea Macamete showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aron Brad, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Mihnea Macamete took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aron Brad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aron Brad in the 16th minute of play forced GATEMI's goalkeeper Mihnea Macamete to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of C.S. Lia Herghe booed when GATEMI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Narcis Ipate didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 18th minute of the match Mihail Gherghe sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mihnea Macamete skillfully saved the ball. A collision led to GATEMI getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Dorel Vulcănescu hit a great ball. 19 minutes into the match, GATEMI's goalkeeper Mihnea Macamete had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Augustin Gurzău. In the 22nd play minute Augustin Gurzău came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Mihnea Macamete. 1-0. After 25 played minutes C.S. Lia Herghe got a freekick which was hit by Mihail Gherghe. Mihnea Macamete showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aron Brad, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Dorel Vulcănescu kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aron Brad in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mihnea Macamete saved GATEMI from getting behind. In the 36th minute, Valeriu Semeghin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mihail Gherghe took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 37th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Mihnea Macamete. GATEMI's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Mihnea Macamete made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aron Brad in the 39th minute of play. If Aron Brad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gabriel Ursu made a kick off. Valeriu Semeghin scored 2-1 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eric Marin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When C.S. Lia Herghe's Aron Brad in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye GATEMI's goalie prevented a goal. Mihail Gherghe hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. A hard shot by Narcis Ipate from long distance, 62 minutes into the match, got Eric Marin's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After 64 minutes, Aron Brad made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. GATEMI's Mihnea Macamete tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. David Buzoianu took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mihnea Macamete. Mihnea Macamete dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. After 70 played minutes GATEMI got a freekick which was hit by Dorel Vulcănescu. In the 75th minute, Valeriu Semeghin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The GATEMI fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. In the 80thth minute of the game Aron Brad who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but GATEMI's Mihnea Macamete was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 81 minutes into the game, C.S. Lia Herghe's Aron Brad nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mihnea Macamete made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-2. Valeriu Semeghin hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Mihnea Macamete showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aron Brad in the 88th minute of the match. 90 minutes into the match, Aron Brad had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mihnea Macamete. GATEMI's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aron Brad was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-2. The referee gave C.S. Lia Herghe a penalty, 96 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Aron Brad, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of GATEMI's Mihnea Macamete. 7-2. A collision led to C.S. Lia Herghe getting a freekick after 99 minutes play. Sebastian Vulpe hit a great ball. When the referee ended the match the C.S. Lia Herghe players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
