The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 12 minutes had been played when some careless play by Sochi's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sorin Mareș was slow to take the kick. During this time Bontesti SC's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Sorin Mareș got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Sergiu Ceaușu quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Cornel Borza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sergiu Ceaușu having to interfere. If Pavel Vochin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cornel Borza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sergiu Ceaușu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. Sochi's Sergiu Ceaușu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cornel Borza in the 22nd minute of play. With a little luck, Sochi's Sergiu Ceaușu got control of the ball when Pavel Vochin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cornel Borza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sergiu Ceaușu having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ernest Ghionea in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ionel Bobariu saved Bontesti SC from getting behind. Bontesti SC's Pavel Vochin got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Pavel Vochin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bontesti SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Pavel Vochin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cornel Borza made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Bontesti SC's goal looked a bit too open when Andrei Lupoaia came free, but Ionel Bobariu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristian Dordea charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 67thth minute of the game Andrei Lupoaia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bontesti SC's Ionel Bobariu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sergiu Ceaușu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cornel Borza, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. 71 minutes into the game, Sorin Mareș was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bontesti SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sochi the free kick. Sorin Mareș kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Bontesti SC were furious when Ion Râznicu was red carded, 80 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 79 minutes into the game, one of Bontesti SC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 82 minutes, Sochi's Sabin Buda got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Ionel Bobariu. After having played for 86 minutes, Pavel Vochin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bontesti SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pavel Vochin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pavel Vochin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Sergiu Ceaușu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pavel Vochin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sergiu Ceaușu having to interfere. Sergiu Ceaușu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iosif Ilinca in the 94th minute of the match. Although Bontesti SC had been in control for most of the match, Sochi still came away with the win.
