Aurel Sitaru was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 9 played minutes Cocioc SC got a freekick which was hit by Augustin Uncheşu. Augustin Gurzău fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurel Sitaru having to interfere. Aurel Sitaru made an important save on a dangerous shot by Augustin Gurzău in the 15th minute. Aron Brad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Aurel Sitaru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 27thth minute of the game Aron Brad who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cocioc SC's Aurel Sitaru was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Augustin Gurzău struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Aurel Sitaru didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.S. Lia Herghe. If Petre Teişanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aron Brad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurel Sitaru having to interfere. In the 38th play minute Aron Brad came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Aurel Sitaru. 3-0. C.S. Lia Herghe's David Buzoianu was substituted for Augustin Gurzău. Eric Marin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Petre Teişanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, David Buzoianu managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.S. Lia Herghe's supporters rose to their feet, but David Buzoianu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aurel Sitaru breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Augustin Uncheşu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the game, Petre Teişanu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Eric Marin. Petre Teişanu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. David Buzoianu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 72ndth minute of the game Aron Brad who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cocioc SC's Aurel Sitaru was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Aurel Sitaru stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aron Brad's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. David Buzoianu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurel Sitaru having to interfere. Aurel Sitaru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aron Brad in the 82nd minute of play. Alin Buricea hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. After 88 minutes, Augustin Uncheşu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cocioc SC and the C.S. Lia Herghe players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Cocioc SC's Augustin Uncheşu got a free kick in the 88th minute. 90 minutes into the game, C.S. Lia Herghe's Aron Brad nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aurel Sitaru made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Petre Teişanu got free with Eric Marin in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. C.S. Lia Herghe had played much better football throughout.
