Basarab Şoimu struck a weak shot in the 2nd minute. Horaţiu Mugur didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for International ACL. Anton Simionescu's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Horaţiu Mugur firmly grabbed it by the left post. Horaţiu Mugur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Ghionea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers David Ghionea in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Horaţiu Mugur saved Grajdeni FC from getting behind. Horaţiu Mugur was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but David Ghionea showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 18 minute of play. A collision led to Grajdeni FC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Dumitru Zburlea hit a great ball. In the 24th minute, David Ghionea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Grajdeni FC's Horaţiu Mugur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Basarab Şoimu in the 26th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Grajdeni FC's zone, Anton Simionescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Horaţiu Mugur came out of the goal and Anton Simionescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Grajdeni FC's goalkeeper Horaţiu Mugur, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Horaţiu Mugur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iordache Şelaru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Radu Miron came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Grajdeni FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Radu Miron couldn't finish the play. In the 40th minute, David Ghionea reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Horaţiu Mugur. The goal made the score 2-0. David Ghionea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 47th minute David Ghionea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horaţiu Mugur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for David Ghionea to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 56thth minute of the game Anton Simionescu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Grajdeni FC's Horaţiu Mugur was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Anton Simionescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Ghionea in the 58th minute of play forced Grajdeni FC's goalkeeper Horaţiu Mugur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Horaţiu Mugur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horia Curteanu in the 61st minute of the match. 62 minutes into the game, International ACL's David Ghionea nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Horaţiu Mugur made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. After 67 minutes, Radu Miron mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Grajdeni FC and the International ACL players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Grajdeni FC's Radu Miron got a free kick in the 67th minute. Horaţiu Mugur stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of David Ghionea's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. After some careless play in the Grajdeni FC defense, Anton Simionescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Horaţiu Mugur. The Grajdeni FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Horaţiu Mugur should have stopped the shot. There was no doubt that International ACL were the better team. International ACL's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
