After 3 minutes of play, Stoicani FC's Liviu Lesnea made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Marin Balint managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jijila's supporters rose to their feet, but Marin Balint was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gică Corduneanu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gică Corduneanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Panait Dan in the 19th minute of the match. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Stoicani FC's goalkeeper Gică Corduneanu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Eduard Frățilă hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. The supporters of Stoicani FC booed when Jijila was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Liviu Lesnea made a kick off. Stoicani FC were awarded a corner in the 57th minute after Jijila's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Șerban Nedelcea took the corner. Iordache Tudose tried in the 58th minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Gigel Teişanu a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 0-2. Gigel Teişanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gigel Ivașcu, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Gigel Teişanu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Teodor Antim in the 62nd minute. Jijila's Gigel Teişanu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Jijila from getting a goal against them. 64 minutes into the match, Jijila's goal looked a bit too open when Nechifor Caramarin came free, but Gigel Teişanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Jijila supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Stoicani FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Stoicani FC.
