Filip Arsenescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernest Lesnea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Filip Arsenescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Codruț Răchitan in the 8th minute of play. Pompiliu Mailat recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 10 played minutes The Star of Football got a freekick which was hit by Ilie Trif. When the match clock showed 20 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Ernest Lesnea sped through Chelsea din Banat's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Filip Arsenescu. If Ernest Lesnea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 29th match minute, Chelsea din Banat was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pompiliu Burdea to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Codruț Răchitan put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Filip Arsenescu. Filip Arsenescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernest Lesnea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Codruț Răchitan received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Filip Arsenescu came out and tried to block the shot, but Codruț Răchitan slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 41st minute. Filip Arsenescu made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Codruț Răchitan sent off a good shot on target. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

After 57 played minutes Chelsea din Banat got a freekick which was hit by Ovidiu Oprița. Chelsea din Banat's Filip Arsenescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernest Lesnea in the 63rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Chelsea din Banat's Pompiliu Burdea got a free kick in the 67th minute. Filip Arsenescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Codruț Răchitan in the 72nd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Codruț Răchitan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Filip Arsenescu was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. In the 75th minute Codruț Răchitan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filip Arsenescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nichifor Chinezu in the 77th minute of play forced Chelsea din Banat's goalkeeper Filip Arsenescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Codruț Răchitan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Filip Arsenescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 81st match minute, The Star of Football was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silviu Pășcuțoiu to maneuver through the defense. In the 85th minute Ernest Lesnea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filip Arsenescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ernest Lesnea in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Filip Arsenescu saved Chelsea din Banat from getting behind. Ernest Lesnea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filip Arsenescu having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the The Star of Football players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
