The tension between the Kiskede and the Jijila players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 2 played minutes Kiskede got a freekick which was hit by Doru Nicolau. A collision led to Jijila getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. George Rada hit a great ball. Panait Dan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 45th minute, Panait Dan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jijila's Marin Balint got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

After 54 played minutes, Kiskede's Gigi Stejaru shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gigel Teişanu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Kiskede reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gică Bologa in the 55th minute of play forced Jijila's goalkeeper Gigel Teişanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Octavian Curuțiu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Panait Dan, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. After a rather tough play, Jijila's Gigel Bojin got a free kick in the 71st minute. George Rada fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octavian Curuțiu having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Marin Balint managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jijila's supporters rose to their feet, but Marin Balint was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Octavian Curuțiu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Kiskede's zone, Marin Balint stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Octavian Curuțiu came out of the goal and Marin Balint tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Francisc Ipătescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Octavian Curuțiu made a huge save. When the final whistle sounded Jijila left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Kiskede.
