Spectators: 7467 (Terracing: 5601, Seating: 1717, VIP seats: 149) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Leonard Bodea kicked off to start the match. In the 2nd minute, Pompiliu Mailat got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. ASC Dacia Unirea Braila's Gigel Sârbu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aron Ciurea in the 6th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Pompiliu Mailat managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chelsea din Banat's supporters rose to their feet, but Pompiliu Mailat was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gigel Sârbu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pompiliu Mailat struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Gigel Sârbu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chelsea din Banat. Gigel Sârbu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aron Ciurea's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. Chelsea din Banat's Filip Arsenescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonard Bodea in the 15th minute of play. The long shot by Cezar Vârlan in the 17th minute really tested Filip Arsenescu's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Aron Ciurea's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gigel Sârbu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aron Ciurea in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gigel Sârbu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pompiliu Mailat in the 31st minute of play forced ASC Dacia Unirea Braila's goalkeeper Gigel Sârbu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Costin Oblemenco kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Chelsea din Banat's Gabriel Turcan tried to score from far away in the 33rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. A collision led to Chelsea din Banat getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Codruț Jitaru hit a great ball. When Pompiliu Mailat came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Chelsea din Banat fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pompiliu Mailat couldn't finish the play. After having played for 41 minutes, Aron Ciurea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chelsea din Banat's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aron Ciurea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aron Ciurea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aron Ciurea to strike the kick off in the second half. If Leonard Bodea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ovidiu Oprița kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Leonard Bodea managed to get in a good position for a shot. ASC Dacia Unirea Braila's supporters rose to their feet, but Leonard Bodea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Filip Arsenescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 70th minute Valer Voineag shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filip Arsenescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 76 minutes, Gigel Sârbu successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. If Valer Voineag had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leonard Bodea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. ASC Dacia Unirea Braila's Valer Voineag got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valer Voineag in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Filip Arsenescu saved Chelsea din Banat from getting behind. In the 97th minute, Leonard Bodea ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Filip Arsenescu was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. For all the effort they put into the match, the Chelsea din Banat players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for ASC Dacia Unirea Braila.
