Spectators: 7532 (Terracing: 5650, Seating: 1732, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Aron Ciurea started the match with the kick off. David Ghionea took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Filip Arsenescu. Filip Arsenescu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Dan Udrescu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ovidiu Oprița went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Pompiliu Mailat could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Dan Udrescu made a huge save. Iordache Şelaru hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. In the 21st minute David Ghionea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filip Arsenescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pompiliu Mailat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Dan Udrescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aron Ciurea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dan Udrescu having to interfere. In the 35th minute, Aron Ciurea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Filip Arsenescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anton Simionescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Chelsea din Banat's goalkeeper Filip Arsenescu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 45 minutes into the match, International ACL's goalkeeper Dan Udrescu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pompiliu Mailat. Dan Udrescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aron Ciurea in the 46th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Ghionea in the 48th minute of play forced Chelsea din Banat's goalkeeper Filip Arsenescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when David Ghionea stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Aron Ciurea notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of International ACL's Dan Udrescu. Dan Udrescu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Chelsea din Banat booed when International ACL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Șerban Panțuru didn't get a good kick on the ball. 58 minutes into the match, International ACL's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Turcan came free, but Dan Udrescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Anton Simionescu came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the International ACL fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anton Simionescu couldn't finish the play. In the 72nd match minute, Chelsea din Banat was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ovidiu Oprița to maneuver through the defense. Anton Simionescu struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Filip Arsenescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for International ACL. Filip Arsenescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of David Ghionea's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. If Aron Ciurea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. International ACL's Dan Udrescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aron Ciurea in the 84th minute of play. After having played for 88 minutes, Pompiliu Mailat managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chelsea din Banat's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pompiliu Mailat was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aron Ciurea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dan Udrescu having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Horia Curteanu during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Horia Curteanu kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. In the 98th match minute, International ACL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Horia Curteanu to maneuver through the defense. Gabriel Turcan was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 98th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Chelsea din Banat had won after a very even match.
