After a rather tough play, Debrecen RO's Dragoş Melinescu got a free kick in the 8th minute. 9 minutes into the match, Stoicani FC's Șerban Nedelcea sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Traian Croitoru narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gică Corduneanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leontin Buzea in the 10th minute of play. With a little luck, Debrecen RO's Traian Croitoru got control of the ball when Gigel Ivașcu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Traian Croitoru was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Nechifor Caramarin showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 17 minute of play. Debrecen RO's Traian Croitoru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Liviu Lesnea in the 21st minute of play. Liviu Lesneas short, quick shot in the 22ndth minute got Traian Croitoru to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Gică Corduneanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eric Zdraşcu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Liviu Lesnea could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Traian Croitoru made a huge save. Liviu Lesnea in the 28thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Traian Croitoru, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Debrecen RO's Traian Croitoru proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Debrecen RO from getting a goal against them. Debrecen RO's Traian Croitoru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Liviu Lesnea in the 32nd minute of play. Victor Lupoaia's late challenge caught a Stoicani FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Victor Lupoaia helped the player get up and apologised. In the 33rd minute, Victor Lupoaia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Liviu Lesnea in the 34thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Traian Croitoru, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 35th play minutes Liviu Lesnea shot 3-0, a short shot which went by Traian Croitoru and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 39thth minute of the game Liviu Lesnea who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Debrecen RO's Traian Croitoru was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gigel Ivașcu got free with Traian Croitoru in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 41 minutes into the game, Leontin Buzea was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Debrecen RO's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Stoicani FC the free kick. Traian Croitoru made an important save on a dangerous shot by Liviu Lesnea in the 45th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eric Zdraşcu in the 46th minute of play forced Stoicani FC's goalkeeper Gică Corduneanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The wind increased when Liviu Lesnea made the kick off in the second half. Liviu Lesnea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Traian Croitoru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leontin Buzea kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Traian Croitoru made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. After 84 minutes of play, Stoicani FC's Teodor Antim made it 6-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Traian Croitoru was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 92nd minute Nechifor Caramarin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Traian Croitoru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Liviu Lesnea in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Traian Croitoru prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Traian Croitoru didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Stoicani FC's Liviu Lesnea shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 7-1 in the ordered_time% minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Stoicani FC fully deserved thier win.
