Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5626, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 149) Oprestii's Tudor Encescu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Octav Cozac took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tudor Encescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Oprestii's Gavril Musta got a free kick in the 6th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Radu Neghină managed to get in a good position for a shot. Miorica's supporters rose to their feet, but Radu Neghină was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ovidiu Tunar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Radu Neghină came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Miorica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Radu Neghină couldn't finish the play. Radu Neghină sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tudor Encescu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Octav Cozac read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, Oprestii's Corneliu Melinte sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Octav Cozac narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 22 minutes into the match, Oprestii's goalkeeper Ovidiu Tunar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Silviu Atodiresei. Radu Neghină received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Ovidiu Tunar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Radu Neghină stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Miorica's defense didn't have a chance, in the 51st minute, when Tudor Encescu scored to the left of an out of position Octav Cozac, making the score, 0-1. Ovidiu Tunar came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Miorica's Radu Neghină. But to his dismay, Radu Neghină quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Tudor Encescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octav Cozac having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Radu Neghină in the 70th minute of play forced Oprestii's goalkeeper Ovidiu Tunar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Corneliu Melinte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octav Cozac having to interfere. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Miorica's goalkeeper Octav Cozac, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Tudor Encescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 79 minutes, Corneliu Melinte managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Oprestii's supporters crossed their fingers, but Corneliu Melinte was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Octav Cozac showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tudor Encescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Silviu Atodiresei blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ovidiu Tunar having to make a save. Tudor Encescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octav Cozac having to interfere. Stelian Onete charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Stelian Onete the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Miorica getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Stelian Onete hit a great ball. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
