Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Patarlaijele's Valeriu Bordeanu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Tudor Encescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petruț Aalexoaiei having to interfere. Tudor Encescu kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Petruț Aalexoaiei made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Corneliu Melinte sent off a good shot on target. Valeriu Bordeanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ovidiu Tunar having to interfere. After 20 played minutes Oprestii got a freekick which was hit by Dorel Zglobiu. 21 minutes into the game, Gavril Musta was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Oprestii's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Patarlaijele the free kick. Gavril Musta hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Corneliu Melinte could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Petruț Aalexoaiei made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Doru Surdu in the 31st minute of play forced Oprestii's goalkeeper Ovidiu Tunar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 33 minutes into the match, Valeriu Bordeanu notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Oprestii's Ovidiu Tunar. Ovidiu Tunar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gavril Musta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Petruț Aalexoaiei made a huge save.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tudor Encescu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Petruț Aalexoaiei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Corneliu Melinte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 58th minute, Valeriu Bordeanu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Doru Surdu struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Ovidiu Tunar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Patarlaijele. In the 61st minute, Corneliu Melinte got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Doru Surdu got free with Ovidiu Tunar in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ovidiu Tunar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valeriu Bordeanu in the 65th minute of play. Ovidiu Tunar made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Doru Surdu sent off a good shot on target. Doru Surdu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Ovidiu Tunar made a huge save. After 81 minutes of play, Oprestii's Horia Achiriloaie made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Petruț Aalexoaiei was left in no man's land by his defense there! Virgil Răcănel kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Dorel Zglobiu charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dorel Zglobiu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 87th match minute, Oprestii was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dorel Zglobiu to maneuver through the defense. The referee felt a red card was in order, 92 minutes into the game, when Romeo Soare put in a rough tackle. In the 92nd minute, one of Oprestii:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Oprestii. Valeriu Bordeanu kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. The Patarlaijele players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
