Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Tudor Encescu made the kick off which started today's match. The audience was convinced that Nichifor Stoian's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ovidiu Tunar was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. 8 minutes into the match, Oprestii's goal looked a bit too open when Denis Chirtoacă came free, but Ovidiu Tunar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Albert Gârniceanu made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Corneliu Melinte sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Tudor Encescu took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Albert Gârniceanu to make any attempt to save it. Tudor Encescu struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Albert Gârniceanu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Oprestii. Corneliu Melinte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albert Gârniceanu having to interfere. Albert Gârniceanu made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Corneliu Melinte sent off a good shot on target. 27 minutes into the match, Chivas's goalkeeper Albert Gârniceanu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Corneliu Melinte. Corneliu Melinte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Corneliu Melinte managed to get in a good position for a shot. Oprestii's supporters rose to their feet, but Corneliu Melinte was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Albert Gârniceanu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Denis Chirtoacă fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ovidiu Tunar having to interfere. If Nichifor Stoian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Denis Chirtoacă in the 45th minute of play forced Oprestii's goalkeeper Ovidiu Tunar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Nichifor Stoian managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chivas's supporters rose to their feet, but Nichifor Stoian was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ovidiu Tunar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Denis Chirtoacă to strike the kick off in the second half. After 57 minutes, Gavril Musta mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Oprestii and the Chivas players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gavril Musta kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chivas's goalkeeper Albert Gârniceanu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Albert Gârniceanu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Corneliu Melinte's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. Tudor Encescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Albert Gârniceanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Chivas's Horaţiu Predoiu got a free kick in the 74th minute. Tudor Encescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Albert Gârniceanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Albert Gârniceanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Corneliu Melinte in the 83rd minute of the match. Tudor Encescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Oprestii's Gavril Musta got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Corneliu Melinte recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Oprestii walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
