The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Radu Neghină stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute Alex Şerb shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albert Gârniceanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Miorica booed when Chivas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cornel Postolache didn't get a good kick on the ball. Miorica's Silviu Atodiresei got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
