Mugur Balțoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laurențiu Moarcăș in the 19th minute of play. Mugur Balțoi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisc Cândreanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edgar Zglimbea during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 24 played minutes Mosoiu Stars got a freekick which was hit by Edgar Zglimbea. Gelu Colceriu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dinu Zăreanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Francisc Cândreanu struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Mugur Balțoi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mosoiu Stars. If Francisc Cândreanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Francisc Cândreanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mugur Balțoi having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Dinu Zăreanu managed to get in a good position for a shot. F.C. Darkensoul -MM-'s supporters rose to their feet, but Dinu Zăreanu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gelu Colceriu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 45th minute of the match Aron Miniș sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gelu Colceriu skillfully saved the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dacian Giurăscu made a kick off. If Dacian Giurăscu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dinu Zăreanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Gelu Colceriu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Avram Almajan kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match.
