Aurelian Ortacu started the match with the kick off. Radu Neghină sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Silviu Atodiresei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Dinamo Bucuresti defense, Silviu Atodiresei kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dorel Zbughină. The Dinamo Bucuresti fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dorel Zbughină should have stopped the shot. Octav Cozac didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aurelian Ortacu went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Aurelian Ortacu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Octav Cozac tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Octav Cozac made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Claudiu Boldișor sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silviu Atodiresei in the 30th minute of play forced Dinamo Bucuresti's goalkeeper Dorel Zbughină to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 32 minutes into the game, Doru Grindeanu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Miorica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dinamo Bucuresti the free kick. 31 minutes into the game, one of Miorica:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Octav Balotă shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Octav Cozac made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurelian Ortacu in the 35th minute of play. After having played for 37 minutes, Aurelian Ortacu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dinamo Bucuresti's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aurelian Ortacu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Aurelian Ortacu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Dinamo Bucuresti booed when Miorica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marian Isaicu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aurelian Ortacu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octav Cozac having to interfere. When Claudiu Boldișor came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Dinamo Bucuresti fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Claudiu Boldișor couldn't finish the play. Alex Şerb hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. Dinamo Bucuresti's Octav Balotă couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 49th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Miorica. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Radu Neghină to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Miorica's zone, Augustin Plopșor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Octav Cozac came out of the goal and Augustin Plopșor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Dinamo Bucuresti getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Emil Miclescu hit a great ball. With a little luck, Dinamo Bucuresti's Dorel Zbughină got control of the ball when Silviu Atodiresei tried to sneak it across the goal line. Aurelian Ortacu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Miorica's Radu Neghină got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aurelian Ortacu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octav Cozac having to interfere. After 70 played minutes Miorica got a freekick which was hit by Doru Grindeanu. If Claudiu Boldișor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dinamo Bucuresti's defense didn't have a chance, in the 76th minute, when Radu Neghină scored to the left of an out of position Dorel Zbughină, making the score, 1-2. Claudiu Boldișor struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Octav Cozac didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dinamo Bucuresti. Nicolae Frântu's late challenge caught a Dinamo Bucuresti's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nicolae Frântu helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Miorica fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 82nd minute. Penalty! Augustin Plopșor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octav Cozac having to interfere. Dorel Zoreanu's late challenge caught a Dinamo Bucuresti's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dorel Zoreanu helped the player get up and apologised. Dorel Zoreanu kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. 91 minutes into the game, Claudiu Boldișor cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Octav Cozac was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Dinamo Bucuresti fully deserved thier win.
