The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gheorghe Panțuru stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Gheorghe Panțuru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelian Cruceru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gheorghe Panțuru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fabian Cămărășescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horia Hârlău having to interfere. Eliodor Dumitrana hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Balomiresti walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
