With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcel Vieru in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Costică Porumbescu saved Alin Fc from getting behind. A collision led to Alin Fc getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Iordache Iorda hit a great ball. Iordache Iorda struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Horaţiu Manolache didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alin Fc. When Paul Grama fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alin Fc's protests and gave Paul Grama a yellow card for diving instead. Paul Grama hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
