With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Goiceanu in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adam Zdrenţu saved Basca from getting behind. Moise Zbârlea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Basca getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. David Murgescu hit a great ball. Adrian Zotincă struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Adam Zdrenţu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Noua Generație. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Goiceanu in the 24th minute of play forced Basca's goalkeeper Adam Zdrenţu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Basca's Adam Zdrenţu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrian Zotincă in the 25th minute of play. Adam Zdrenţu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Goiceanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 32nd minute Moise Zbârlea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mihail Antipa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Goiceanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adam Zdrenţu having to interfere. If Daniel Goiceanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 40 minutes into the match, Noua Generație's Adrian Zotincă sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Adam Zdrenţu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 45th minute, Marcel Șişman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Grigore Crăcană could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Mihail Antipa made a huge save.

Adam Zdrenţu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Goiceanu in the 52nd minute of play. A collision led to Noua Generație getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Marcel Șişman hit a great ball. Adrian Zotincă could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Adam Zdrenţu made a huge save. Nicolae Savu kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Adam Zdrenţu was out of position in the 64 minute of play, and Daniel Goiceanu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Daniel Goiceanu really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. After 67 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Basca! Paul Josan shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. 72 minutes into the match, Basca's goalkeeper Adam Zdrenţu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcel Șişman. In the 74th minute, Daniel Goiceanu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Adam Zdrenţu. The goal made the score 0-2. If Adrian Zotincă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adrian Zotincă struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Adam Zdrenţu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Noua Generație. Adam Zdrenţu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adrian Zotincă in the 97th minute. Noua Generație played a much better game than Basca and deserved their victory. The Basca players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
