Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Sanatatea FC's Sebastian Stârcea in the 4th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Niculae Aelenei was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Poli Iasi through an amazing save. When Grigore Dobrițoiu got free in front of the goal in the 10th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Niculae Aelenei was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 12 minutes into the game, Grigore Dobrițoiu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Niculae Aelenei was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Grigore Dobrițoiu in the 15thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Niculae Aelenei, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Sanatatea FC's Grigore Dobrițoiu was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 15th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 19th match minute, Poli Iasi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eugen Novac to maneuver through the defense. In the 19th minute of the match Eusebiu Urdea shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Niculae Aelenei showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Niculae Aelenei was a little too slow when Grigore Dobrițoiu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 23rd minute. The score was now 3-0. 30 minutes into the match, Sanatatea FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ferdinand Cosoreanu came free, but Baldomero Terciero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Grigore Dobrițoiu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 33rdth minute, Niculae Aelenei skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Sanatatea FC's Grigore Dobrițoiu was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 35th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 38th minute, Mihai Zberea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Grigore Dobrițoiu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Niculae Aelenei made a huge save. A hard shot 42 in the game by Grigore Dobrițoiu from a close distance when the talented Niculae Aelenei managed to make a qualified save. Poli Iasi's players were relieved. After a defensive mix-up in Poli Iasi's zone, Leonard Doloman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Niculae Aelenei came out of the goal and Leonard Doloman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

Sanatatea FC made a substitution. Mădălin Vârjean replaced Dorel Ducu. The wind increased when Grigore Dobrițoiu made the kick off in the second half. Sanatatea FC's Baldomero Terciero proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Sanatatea FC from getting a goal against them. Ferdinand Cosoreanu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Baldomero Terciero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. The supporters of Sanatatea FC booed when Poli Iasi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vlad Holban didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 57 minutes, Nicu Gheorghe mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sanatatea FC and the Poli Iasi players grew even worse after the yellow card. Niculae Aelenei didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Grigore Dobrițoiu went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. Niculae Aelenei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Stârcea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 68 minutes into the match, Grigore Dobrițoiu notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of Poli Iasi's Niculae Aelenei. Niculae Aelenei was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Grigore Dobrițoiu in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Niculae Aelenei saved Poli Iasi from getting behind. After 76 played minutes Sanatatea FC got a freekick which was hit by Petruț Şantău. After a rather tough play, Poli Iasi's Andrei Zgrăbunţa got a free kick in the 77th minute. When Sanatatea FC's Grigore Dobrițoiu in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Nicu Gheorghe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Grigore Dobrițoiu in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Niculae Aelenei saved Poli Iasi from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mugur Suluțiu in the 86th minute of play forced Poli Iasi's goalkeeper Niculae Aelenei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th minute, Grigore Dobrițoiu made a precise shot to the right of Niculae Aelenei. Poli Iasi's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 9-0. Baldomero Terciero made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andrei Zgrăbunţa in the 93rd minute. When the match had gone on for 97 minutes, Grigore Dobrițoiu put it in 10-0 from a short distance just to the right of Niculae Aelenei. Sanatatea FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
