Spectators: 7468 (Terracing: 5602, Seating: 1717, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Moise Zbârlea started the match with the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Basca's zone, Călin Constantin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adam Zdrenţu came out of the goal and Călin Constantin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 11 minutes into the match, Filip Apetroaiei dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Adam Zdrenţu, 1-0. In the 17th minute Filip Apetroaiei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adam Zdrenţu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vizurestii AFC's Călin Constantin got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Filip Apetroaiei in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adam Zdrenţu saved Basca from getting behind. In the 24th minute, Cosmin Pisculescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 28th minute Filip Apetroaiei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adam Zdrenţu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Basca's goalkeeper Adam Zdrenţu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 37 played minutes Basca got a freekick which was hit by Grigore Crăcană. Călin Constantin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Adam Zdrenţu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Grigore Crăcană scored 1-1 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Costică Aplugăriței, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 46 minutes into the match, Vizurestii AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Grigore Crăcană came free, but Costică Aplugăriței reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moise Zbârlea in the 48th minute of play forced Vizurestii AFC's goalkeeper Costică Aplugăriței to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Filip Apetroaiei made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Vizurestii AFC booed when Basca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aurel Ferenț didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 56th minute of the match, Moise Zbârlea tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Costică Aplugăriței saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 56 minutes, Romeo Negrilă mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vizurestii AFC and the Basca players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 56th match minute, Vizurestii AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romeo Negrilă to maneuver through the defense. In the 57th minute Moise Zbârlea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Costică Aplugăriței saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adam Zdrenţu came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Vizurestii AFC's Filip Apetroaiei. But to his dismay, Filip Apetroaiei quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. The long shot by Alex Zgaroi in the 63rd minute really tested Costică Aplugăriței's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. With a little luck, Vizurestii AFC's Costică Aplugăriței got control of the ball when Grigore Crăcană tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cosmin Pisculescu kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. In the 76th minute, Basca's Moise Zbârlea ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Costică Aplugăriței. Costică Aplugăriței yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-3. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Filip Apetroaiei in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adam Zdrenţu saved Basca from getting behind. Adam Zdrenţu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Călin Constantin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Călin Constantin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adam Zdrenţu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filip Apetroaiei in the 93rd minute of play.
