The referee showed Gheorghe Buzoianu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 10th match minute, Sanatatea FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonard Doloman to maneuver through the defense. Adrian Zotincă fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baldomero Terciero having to interfere. Grigore Dobrițoius short, quick shot in the 15thth minute got Mihail Antipa to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Grigore Dobrițoiu had several of the Noua Generație's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 18 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Mihail Antipa as he didn't even see the shot coming. A hard shot 23 in the game by Grigore Dobrițoiu from a close distance when the talented Mihail Antipa managed to make a qualified save. Noua Generație's players were relieved. A collision led to Sanatatea FC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Petruț Şantău hit a great ball. Mihail Antipa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Grigore Dobrițoiu in the 28th minute of play. After having played for 32 minutes, Grigore Dobrițoiu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sanatatea FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Grigore Dobrițoiu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Noua Generație's Mihail Antipa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Noua Generație from getting a goal against them. Sebastian Stârcea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Grigore Dobrițoiu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 45thth minute tested the skills of Mihail Antipa when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Leonard Doloman struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Mihail Antipa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sanatatea FC. After 47 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Noua Generație! Sanatatea FC's Nicu Gheorghe was substituted for Leonard Doloman. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 58th minute Sebastian Stârcea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mihail Antipa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gheorghe Buzoianu tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Mihail Antipa. An unnecessary self made goal, 3-0 in the 60th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Grigore Dobrițoiu in the 66th minute of play forced Noua Generație's goalkeeper Mihail Antipa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mădălin Vârjean sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Mihail Antipa came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Sanatatea FC's Grigore Dobrițoiu. But to his dismay, Grigore Dobrițoiu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Grigore Dobrițoiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 70 minutes into the match, Noua Generație's goal looked a bit too open when Grigore Dobrițoiu came free, but Mihail Antipa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gheorghe Buzoianu got his second yellow card in the match during the 75th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 76th match minute, Noua Generație was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gheorghe Buzoianu to maneuver through the defense. After 77 minutes, Grigore Dobrițoiu made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. Noua Generație's Mihail Antipa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Mihail Antipa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Grigore Dobrițoiu's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. Nicu Gheorghe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Sanatatea FC booed when Noua Generație was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Horaţiu Budișteanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sebastian Stârcea blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mihail Antipa having to make a save. When Sanatatea FC's Grigore Dobrițoiu in 91 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Mihail Antipa guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Grigore Dobrițoiu in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mihail Antipa saved Noua Generație from getting behind. Mihail Antipa came out of the goal in the 98th minute to try and stop a shot by Sanatatea FC's Grigore Dobrițoiu. But to his dismay, Grigore Dobrițoiu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. After having played for 101 minutes, Grigore Dobrițoiu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sanatatea FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Grigore Dobrițoiu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee ended the match the Sanatatea FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
