Anton Senin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bogdan Iuonaș, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Codrin Groza in the 36th minute of play forced Atletico Iasi's goalkeeper Anton Senin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Atletico Iasi's Dacian Negara slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cristian Aldescu. That made the score 1-1 after 41 minutes of play. Anton Senin didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Speranta's Codrin Groza shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-2 in the ordered_time% minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dacian Negara stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Bogdan Iuonaș had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 54 minutes into the game, Dacian Lixandru was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Speranta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atletico Iasi the free kick. In the 54th minute, Dacian Lixandru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 57 minutes into the game, Ioan Raicu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Atletico Iasi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Speranta the free kick. Bogdan Iuonaș fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anton Senin having to interfere. In the 74th minute Codrin Groza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anton Senin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Codrin Groza in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anton Senin saved Atletico Iasi from getting behind. If Bogdan Iuonaș had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Codrin Groza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Anton Senin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anton Senin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Codrin Groza in the 82nd minute of the match. Stelian Buga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristian Aldescu having to interfere. Stelian Buga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Florin Dordea kicked well hit freekick during the 98th minute of the match.
