Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Claudiu Trifu took the kick off in the first half of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Laurențiu Finteșteanu during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Laurențiu Finteșteanu kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Sohodolu CSS's Octav Manciulea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Codrin Groza in the 6th minute of play. In the 10thth minute of the game Claudiu Trifu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Speranta's Cristian Aldescu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cristian Aldescu made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Radu Roşoga sent off a good shot on target. If Radu Roşoga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristian Aldescu was a little too slow when Claudiu Trifu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 19th minute. The score was now 1-0. Ştefan Grindeanu charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ştefan Grindeanu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Sohodolu CSS's Ştefan Grindeanu got a free kick in the 29th minute. Laurențiu Finteșteanu hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. The supporters of Speranta booed when Sohodolu CSS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Laurențiu Finteșteanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Sohodolu CSS's Radu Roşoga in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Speranta's goalie prevented a goal. In the 45th minute Claudiu Trifu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristian Aldescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristian Aldescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Radu Roşoga in the 46th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Codrin Groza made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bogdan Iuonaș got free with Octav Manciulea in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Laurențiu Finteșteanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Claudiu Trifu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Cristian Aldescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristian Aldescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudiu Trifu in the 61st minute of play. Radu Roşoga struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Cristian Aldescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sohodolu CSS. After 67 minutes of play, Sohodolu CSS's Claudiu Trifu made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cristian Aldescu was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudiu Trifu in the 70th minute of play forced Speranta's goalkeeper Cristian Aldescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Sohodolu CSS's zone, Bogdan Iuonaș stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Octav Manciulea came out of the goal and Bogdan Iuonaș tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Sohodolu CSS booed when Speranta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bogdan Iuonaș didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 75th minute Claudiu Trifu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristian Aldescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Codrin Groza blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Octav Manciulea having to make a save. In the 86th minute, Ştefan Grindeanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the last second Octav Manciulea throw himself and got hold of the ball when Codrin Groza in the 91stth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. In the 96th minute Claudiu Trifu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristian Aldescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Sohodolu CSS players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
