Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Claudiu Trifu scored 0-1 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nicu Micescu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Nicu Micescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Radu Roşoga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Rareș Răuţă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Radu Roşoga blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nicu Micescu having to make a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sorin Prunaru during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Sorin Prunaru hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. In the 20th minute, Ştefan Grindeanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Radu Roşoga in the 24th minute of play forced Ionut's goalkeeper Nicu Micescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nae Adam's late challenge caught a Sohodolu CSS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nae Adam helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Sohodolu CSS booed when Ionut was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nae Adam didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 28thth minute of the game Claudiu Trifu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ionut's Nicu Micescu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 29 minutes into the game, Virgil Gavra was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ionut's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sohodolu CSS the free kick. After a rather tough play, Ionut's Virgil Gavra got a free kick in the 29th minute. Radu Roşoga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Nicu Micescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. During the 32nd minute of the match Nae Adam completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Nae Adam a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Ionut getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Nae Adam hit a great ball. 34 minutes into the match, Ionut's goal looked a bit too open when Claudiu Trifu came free, but Nicu Micescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35th minute, Aurelian Simionică got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Radu Roşoga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicu Micescu having to interfere. The supporters of Sohodolu CSS booed when Ionut was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filip Giugiuc didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 44th minute of the match Aurel Bărbat shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nicu Micescu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Nicu Micescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudiu Trifu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Sohodolu CSS were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Claudiu Trifu to strike the kick off in the second half. When Rareș Răuţă fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ionut's protests and gave Rareș Răuţă a yellow card for diving instead. After 54 played minutes Ionut got a freekick which was hit by Rareș Răuţă. If Radu Roşoga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Radu Roşoga received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Nicu Micescu came out and tried to block the shot, but Radu Roşoga slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 63rd minute. Octav Manciulea didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aurelian Simionică went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Claudiu Trifu was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 71st minute. Sohodolu CSS's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 75th minute of the match, Radu Roşoga got a very nice opportunity to score, but Nicu Micescu was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 77thth minute of the game Claudiu Trifu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ionut's Nicu Micescu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alin Iureș took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Octav Manciulea. Octav Manciulea dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. The supporters of Sohodolu CSS booed when Ionut was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Virgil Gavra didn't get a good kick on the ball. 94 minutes into the game, Ştefan Grindeanu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sohodolu CSS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ionut the free kick. Ştefan Grindeanu kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Romeo Agrigoroaiei took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 95th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Octav Manciulea. Sohodolu CSS's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Sohodolu CSS's Claudiu Trifu in the 98th minute got a chance for a shot 98th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ionut's goalie prevented a goal. The Sohodolu CSS supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Sohodolu CSS would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
