In the 15th minute of the match, Vintilă Arnăuțoiu tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but George Tăbăcaru saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Florin Leucuța's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Iordache Cristea read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. Albert Avram kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Teodor Cutieru got free with George Tăbăcaru in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 23 minutes into the match, Grigore Gherghescu notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of CF Ramnicu Valcea's George Tăbăcaru. George Tăbăcaru was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. George Tăbăcaru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vintilă Arnăuțoiu in the 26th minute of the match. 28 minutes into the match, CF Ramnicu Valcea's goal looked a bit too open when Vintilă Arnăuțoiu came free, but George Tăbăcaru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Florin Leucuța had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Iordache Cristea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florin Leucuța, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. CF Ramnicu Valcea's defense didn't have a chance, in the 35th minute, when Vintilă Arnăuțoiu scored to the left of an out of position George Tăbăcaru, making the score, 2-0. George Tăbăcaru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vintilă Arnăuțoiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. George Tăbăcaru came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Fc DăRmĂnEşTi's Vintilă Arnăuțoiu. But to his dismay, Vintilă Arnăuțoiu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vintilă Arnăuțoiu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, CF Ramnicu Valcea's Florin Leucuța sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Iordache Cristea narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fc DăRmĂnEşTi's Iordache Cristea proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Fc DăRmĂnEşTi from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vintilă Arnăuțoiu in the 58th minute of play forced CF Ramnicu Valcea's goalkeeper George Tăbăcaru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Mugur Poplăcean came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the CF Ramnicu Valcea fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mugur Poplăcean couldn't finish the play. George Tăbăcaru was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Fc DăRmĂnEşTi booed when CF Ramnicu Valcea was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iosif Vâlceanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 88th minute of the match Florin Pădure shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but George Tăbăcaru showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. CF Ramnicu Valcea's George Tăbăcaru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Grigore Gherghescu in the 89th minute of play. George Tăbăcaru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vintilă Arnăuțoiu in the 95th minute of the match. Iordache Cristea made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Florin Leucuța sent off a good shot on target. Fc DăRmĂnEşTi walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
