Cristinel Alb's late challenge caught a Dragoslaveni's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristinel Alb helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Dragoslaveni booed when Liverpool was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristinel Alb didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alexandru Trăistaru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Edgar Căliman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edgar Căliman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciprian Pârlea in the 13th minute of play. Liverpool's Edgar Căliman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Liverpool from getting a goal against them. Laurențiu Panciu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Alexandru Trăistaru recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 26 minutes into the match, Dragoslaveni's goal looked a bit too open when Anton Roşculeţ came free, but Matei Varga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ciprian Pârlea blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edgar Căliman having to make a save. A collision led to Liverpool getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Cristinel Alb hit a great ball. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Răzvan Horhoianu made a kick off. Edgar Căliman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laurențiu Panciu, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Laurențiu Panciu in the 55th minute of play forced Liverpool's goalkeeper Edgar Căliman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Emil Cârnațiu took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Matei Varga to make any attempt to save it. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Răzvan Horhoianu couldn't finish the play. The Liverpool players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
