Iordache Cristea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Ciprian Cojan came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the ASC Rapid Dobroiesti fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ciprian Cojan couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Manuel Omescu got free with Iordache Cristea in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Ciprian Cojan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 17th minute, Gigel Ţugui hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Horaţiu Mocanu charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Horaţiu Mocanu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Fc DăRmĂnEşTi's Horaţiu Mocanu got a free kick in the 18th minute. Constantin Lupea, 19 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Grigore Gherghescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Iordache Cristea was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Constantin Lupea. Manuel Omescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Manuel Omescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Grigore Gherghescu struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Costică Stan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fc DăRmĂnEşTi. Iordache Cristea made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Manuel Omescu sent off a good shot on target. Gigel Ţugui kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vintilă Arnăuțoiu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Ciprian Cojan came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the ASC Rapid Dobroiesti fans jumped to their feet.
