The referee ignored Ionut's protests and gave Romeo Agrigoroaiei a yellow card for diving instead. Romeo Agrigoroaiei kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. After 13 played minutes Ionut got a freekick which was hit by Aurelian Simionică. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ionut's goalkeeper Nicu Micescu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Manuel Omescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 20 minutes, Rareș Răuţă managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ionut's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rareș Răuţă was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Rareș Răuţă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aurelian Simionică kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 24thth minute. Though ot was a great shot ASC Rapid Dobroiesti's keeper Costică Stan was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Aurelian Simionică managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ionut's supporters rose to their feet, but Aurelian Simionică was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Costică Stan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 28 minutes, Leonard Bitang mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ASC Rapid Dobroiesti and the Ionut players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to ASC Rapid Dobroiesti getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Leonard Bitang hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in ASC Rapid Dobroiesti's zone, Rareș Răuţă stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Costică Stan came out of the goal and Rareș Răuţă tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rareș Răuţă received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Costică Stan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Ciprian Cojan came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the ASC Rapid Dobroiesti fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ciprian Cojan couldn't finish the play. Manuel Omescu took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nicu Micescu. Nicu Micescu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 79th match minute, Ionut was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nae Adam to maneuver through the defense. Virgil Gavra kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Costică Stan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aurelian Simionică in the 88th minute of the match. Costică Stan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aurelian Simionică, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 91st minute Rareș Răuţă shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Costică Stan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
