Spectators: 6731 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1731, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Sorin Mavrodin started the match with the kick off. David Enișteanu's late challenge caught a Rudna's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. David Enișteanu helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Rudna booed when Dirja CSS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Enișteanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aristide Trăistaru's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nicodim Lupașcu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. In the 10th minute of the match, Romeo Achiriloaie tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ionică Siteavu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 15 minutes of play, Dirja CSS's Sorin Mavrodin made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nicodim Lupașcu was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Sorin Mavrodin came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Dirja CSS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sorin Mavrodin couldn't finish the play. Nicodim Lupașcu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aristide Trăistaru's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aristide Trăistaru in the 29th minute of play forced Rudna's goalkeeper Nicodim Lupașcu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 30 minutes into the match, Rudna's goal looked a bit too open when Sorin Mavrodin came free, but Nicodim Lupașcu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32nd minute, Sorin Mavrodin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dirja CSS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Ionică Siteavu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cosmin Baniu, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aristide Trăistaru in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nicodim Lupașcu saved Rudna from getting behind. When Dirja CSS's Aristide Trăistaru in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rudna's goalie prevented a goal. Ionică Siteavu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romeo Achiriloaie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sorin Mavrodin struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Nicodim Lupașcu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dirja CSS. Nicodim Lupașcu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sorin Mavrodin in the 48th minute of play.

The wind increased when Cosmin Baniu made the kick off in the second half. Nicodim Lupașcu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aristide Trăistaru in the 52nd minute. After 54 minutes of play, Rudna's Cosmin Baniu made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ionică Siteavu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nicodim Lupașcu made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Aristide Trăistaru sent off a good shot on target. Rudna's Nicodim Lupașcu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sorin Mavrodin in the 63rd minute of play. If Aristide Trăistaru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Aristide Trăistaru's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nicodim Lupașcu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. A hard shot 73 in the game by Aristide Trăistaru from a close distance when the talented Nicodim Lupașcu managed to make a qualified save. Rudna's players were relieved. With his leg Nicodim Lupașcu managed to avoid a goal in the 74thth minute, when Dirja CSS's Aristide Trăistaru fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With 76 minutes on the clock, Vali Boștină commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 75th minute, one of Dirja CSS:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Dirja CSS. Leonard Aliuta walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Rudna's goalkeeper Nicodim Lupașcu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Codrin Iorga charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Codrin Iorga the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 84th match minute, Dirja CSS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Codrin Iorga to maneuver through the defense. 86 minutes into the match, Claudiu Cubleșan notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Dirja CSS's Ionică Siteavu. Ionică Siteavu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Aristide Trăistaru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 93rd minute of the match, Aristide Trăistaru got a very nice opportunity to score, but Nicodim Lupașcu was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 94th match minute, Dirja CSS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Apolzan to maneuver through the defense. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
