Spectators: 6883 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1733, VIP seats: 150) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Cristian Fenici made the kick off which started today's match. When UNITED GALATI's Cristian Fenici in the 4th minute got a chance for a shot 4th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Haraly's goalie prevented a goal. 5 minutes into the match, Haraly's goal looked a bit too open when Stelian Buricea came free, but Emil Răchitan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Haraly defense, Virgil Durbac kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Emil Răchitan. The Haraly fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emil Răchitan should have stopped the shot. In the 20th minute Iustinian Panțâru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cazimir Rareș saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stelian Buricea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Emil Răchitan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristian Fenici in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emil Răchitan saved Haraly from getting behind. Cazimir Rareș was a little too slow when Iustinian Panțâru got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 29th minute. The score was now 1-1. 33 minutes into the match, UNITED GALATI's Cristian Fenici sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Emil Răchitan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Stelian Buricea took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Emil Răchitan. Emil Răchitan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. In the 44th minute, Panait Uncuţă got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 46th minute, Stelian Buricea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Stelian Buricea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Haraly players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. UNITED GALATI were winning 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Iustinian Panțâru stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cristian Fenici fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emil Răchitan having to interfere. Emil Răchitan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Fenici in the 58th minute of the match. If Cristian Fenici had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Cristian Fenici came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the UNITED GALATI fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Fenici couldn't finish the play. Stelian Buricea blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Emil Răchitan having to make a save. Emil Răchitan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Fenici in the 69th minute of play. After having played for 71 minutes, Cristian Fenici managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UNITED GALATI's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Fenici was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Emil Răchitan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Fenici in the 76th minute of the match. With a little luck, Haraly's Emil Răchitan got control of the ball when Stelian Buricea tried to sneak it across the goal line. Emil Răchitan had in the 85thth minute some difficulties stopping Sandu Mușătescu's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 85 minutes into the game, UNITED GALATI's Sandu Mușătescu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Emil Răchitan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. With his leg Emil Răchitan managed to avoid a goal in the 89thth minute, when UNITED GALATI's Stelian Buricea fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 94th minute, Iustinian Panțâru got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Stelian Buricea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emil Răchitan having to interfere. 98 minutes into the game, Dorel Dudea was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Haraly's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave UNITED GALATI the free kick. UNITED GALATI's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
