After a defensive mix-up in Vlad Juniors FC's zone, Iustinian Panțâru stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iustin Udrişte came out of the goal and Iustinian Panțâru tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Alex Moise had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alex Moise struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Emil Răchitan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vlad Juniors FC. Emil Răchitan acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 27th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Dorel Șofran. When Vlad Juniors FC's Alex Moise in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 31st minute, Ilie Logofeteanu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Haraly's Emil Răchitan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alex Moise in the 39th minute of play. Ilie Logofeteanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emil Răchitan having to interfere. Iustinian Panțâru charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Iustinian Panțâru the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ilie Logofeteanu took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Emil Răchitan. Emil Răchitan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Iustinian Panțâru was the one to do the kick off. If Alex Moise had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dorel Dudea kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Vlad Juniors FC's Alex Moise got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Dorel Dudea fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Haraly's protests and gave Dorel Dudea a yellow card for diving instead. In the 59th minute, Alex Moise got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Emil Răchitan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex Moise in the 88th minute of play forced Haraly's goalkeeper Emil Răchitan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Ilie Logofeteanu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emil Răchitan was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. Ilie Logofeteanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emil Răchitan having to interfere.
