Spectators: 7372 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 149) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Iustinian Panțâru kicked off to start the match. Marius Mazilu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Emil Răchitan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marius Mazilu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marius Mazilu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Emil Răchitan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 23rd minute, Andrei Ghionaru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Haraly's Teodor Pietreanu tried to score from far away in the 33rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Eugen Ştiopul's late challenge caught a Haraly's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eugen Ştiopul helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to STEAUA NORDULUI getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Eugen Ştiopul hit a great ball. 41 minutes into the match, Marius Mazilu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Emil Răchitan. Haraly's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marius Mazilu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 45th minute Edgar Balaeț shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maxim Bucurescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marius Mazilu got free with Emil Răchitan in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Toader Hortopan made the kick off in the second half. Edgar Balaeț struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Maxim Bucurescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Haraly. The supporters of Haraly booed when STEAUA NORDULUI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alin Varga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edgar Balaeț fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maxim Bucurescu having to interfere. Emanuel Negrițoiu hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Emil Răchitan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marius Mazilu went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Toader Hortopan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in STEAUA NORDULUI's zone, Edgar Balaeț stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maxim Bucurescu came out of the goal and Edgar Balaeț tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Toader Hortopan in the 77th minute of play forced Haraly's goalkeeper Emil Răchitan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Haraly getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Dorel Dudea hit a great ball. If Iustinian Panțâru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maxim Bucurescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iustinian Panțâru in the 88th minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, Haraly's Iustinian Panțâru sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Maxim Bucurescu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The STEAUA NORDULUI fans cheered their team off the field, for while Haraly had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
