The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nistor Anghel was the one to do the kick off. With his leg Cazimir Rareș managed to avoid a goal in the 54thth minute, when Frasincea CSS's Nicolae Buga fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Cornel Condescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stelian Buricea in the 93rd minute of the match. In the 96th match minute, Frasincea CSS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristinel Panaiteanu to maneuver through the defense. In the 98thth minute of the game Stelian Buricea who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Frasincea CSS's Cornel Condescu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. UNITED GALATI's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
