Spectators: 7537 (Terracing: 5654, Seating: 1733, VIP seats: 150) Gusu's Felix Mârza started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Marcel Spiridon took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 3rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Matei Zburliş. Gusu's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 4th minute, Alin Pârâianu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Matei Zburliş. The goal made the score 1-0. Matei Zburliş took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alin Pârâianu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Alin Pârâianu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 11th match minute, Gusu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Petrică Daimacă to maneuver through the defense. 13 minutes into the match, Gusu's goal looked a bit too open when Alin Pârâianu came free, but Matei Zburliş reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Petrică Daimacă hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Ovidiu Iorgulescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Mârza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Cazimir Cocea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 26th match minute, Gusu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nichifor Păuceanu to maneuver through the defense. Alin Pârâianu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Matei Zburliş tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 35th minute, Alin Pârâianu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alin Pârâianu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Matei Zburliş tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 42nd minute of the match Vasile Ignat sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ovidiu Iorgulescu skillfully saved the ball. Cazimir Cocea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ovidiu Iorgulescu having to interfere. Ion Ţintea could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Matei Zburliş made a huge save.

Cazimir Cocea might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ovidiu Iorgulescu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cazimir Cocea ran back to his position shaking his head. Rareș Şoiman kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Matei Zburliş came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Vajla's Alin Pârâianu. But to his dismay, Alin Pârâianu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Ion Ţintea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Matei Zburliş tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Alin Pârâianu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Șerban Enache kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Matei Zburliş showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alin Pârâianu, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Ovidiu Iorgulescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Mârza in the 69th minute of the match. Alin Pârâianu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matei Zburliş having to interfere. Matei Zburliş stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alin Pârâianu's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. Ovidiu Iorgulescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Mârza in the 74th minute of play. Cazimir Cocea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Ovidiu Iorgulescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ovidiu Iorgulescu came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Gusu's Cazimir Cocea. But to his dismay, Cazimir Cocea quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Matei Zburliş showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alin Pârâianu, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Gusu's Matei Zburliş played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ion Ţintea in the 92nd minute of play. Ovidiu Iorgulescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Mârza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Felix Mârza in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ovidiu Iorgulescu saved Vajla from getting behind. Ovidiu Iorgulescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Mârza, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. There was no doubt that Vajla were the better team. Vajla's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
