Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 149) Lucrețiu Lesnea started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 3 minutes into the match, Isvoarele CF's goal looked a bit too open when Mircea Drăghici came free, but Ştefan Arșanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lucrețiu Lesnea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horea Dorlea in the 8th minute of play forced Varleni's goalkeeper Claudiu Luțu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Claudiu Luțu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alex Romaşcanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Varleni defense, Lucrețiu Lesnea kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Claudiu Luțu. The Varleni fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Claudiu Luțu should have stopped the shot. Claudiu Luțu came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Isvoarele CF's Alex Romaşcanu. But to his dismay, Alex Romaşcanu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. In the 23rd match minute, Varleni was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mircea Drăghici to maneuver through the defense. Claudiu Luțu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Horea Dorlea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Claudiu Luțu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horea Dorlea in the 28th minute of the match. Ştefan Arșanu was out of position in the 29 minute of play, and Daniel Boc capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Daniel Boc really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. Lucrețiu Lesnea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudiu Luțu having to interfere. Horea Dorlea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Claudiu Luțu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Claudiu Luțu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horea Dorlea in the 43rd minute of the match. Ştefan Arșanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marian Blidaru in the 47th minute of play. In the 47th minute, Isvoarele CF's Romeo Sfetcu seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Romeo Sfetcu the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Isvoarele CF protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Romeo Sfetcu had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 47 minutes into the game, one of Isvoarele CF:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Albert Ciuvică to strike the kick off in the second half. When Pompiliu Cămărășescu fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Isvoarele CF's protests and gave Pompiliu Cămărășescu a yellow card for diving instead. Pompiliu Cămărășescu hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Constantin Gâgea made in the 56th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Iordache Răuțu however managed to control. The crowd rose to their feet as Isvoarele CF's Lucrețiu Lesnea slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Claudiu Luțu. That made the score 1-5 after 59 minutes of play. Lucrețiu Lesnea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudiu Luțu having to interfere. If Lucrețiu Lesnea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Claudiu Luțu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alex Romaşcanu in the 71st minute of play. The supporters of Varleni booed when Isvoarele CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicu Cozmâncă didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 76th minute, Valentin Drăgan sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Isvoarele CF's Ştefan Arșanu didn't even have to move. Claudiu Luțu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lucrețiu Lesnea in the 82nd minute. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Alex Romaşcanu took a quick shot and it went in 2-6 without a chance for Claudiu Luțu to make any attempt to save it. A collision led to Varleni getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Mircea Drăghici hit a great ball. Claudiu Luțu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucrețiu Lesnea in the 88th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Isvoarele CF's Lucrețiu Lesnea slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Claudiu Luțu. That made the score 2-7 after 91 minutes of play. Iordache Răuțu hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. The Varleni fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Isvoarele CF were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
