Spectators: 7506 (Terracing: 5630, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 150) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Aurel Geoană made the kick off which started today's match. Matei Zburliş showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augustin Alexandrescu in the 10th minute of the match. Valeriu Chirițescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Mârza in the 12th minute of play. In the 14th minute Augustin Alexandrescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matei Zburliş saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 18th match minute, Gusu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rareș Şoiman to maneuver through the defense. If Felix Mârza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Augustin Alexandrescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. CS Carp eDiem's supporters rose to their feet, but Augustin Alexandrescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Matei Zburliş breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Felix Mârza might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Valeriu Chirițescu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Felix Mârza ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 32 minutes, Aurel Geoană managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CS Carp eDiem's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aurel Geoană was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Gusu's goalkeeper Matei Zburliş, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 43 played minutes CS Carp eDiem got a freekick which was hit by Ovidiu Cozmâncă. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Mârza in the 46th minute of play forced CS Carp eDiem's goalkeeper Valeriu Chirițescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Felix Mârza made the kick off in the second half. Augustin Alexandrescu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 57thth minute, Matei Zburliş skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aurel Geoană in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Matei Zburliş saved Gusu from getting behind. In the 63rd minute Aurel Geoană shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matei Zburliş saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 74th minute, Cazimir Cocea left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gusu fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. In the 85th minute, Augustin Alexandrescu made a precise shot to the right of Matei Zburliş. Gusu's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Aurel Geoană received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Matei Zburliş tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Felix Mârza managed to get in a good position for a shot.
