Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Avram Oprișan took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 4 minutes, Narcis Ogică made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Pocola's Costin Jilăveanu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Narcis Ogică might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Costin Jilăveanu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Narcis Ogică ran back to his position shaking his head. Costin Jilăveanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudiu Sălcudeanu in the 12th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Sacaseni CSM's Ivan Nicolescu got a free kick in the 17th minute. Narcis Ogică struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Costin Jilăveanu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sacaseni CSM. Costin Jilăveanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Narcis Ogică, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 23 minutes of play, Sacaseni CSM's Claudiu Sălcudeanu made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Costin Jilăveanu was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Narcis Ogică in the 33rd minute of play forced Pocola's goalkeeper Costin Jilăveanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th minute Avram Oprișan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sever Paulescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Costin Jilăveanu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Narcis Ogică went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Narcis Ogică was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Claudiu Sălcudeanu in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Costin Jilăveanu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 55 minutes into the match, Pocola's goalkeeper Costin Jilăveanu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ivan Nicolescu. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mădălin Miron during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 56 played minutes Pocola got a freekick which was hit by Mădălin Miron. Ivan Nicolescu charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ivan Nicolescu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Pocola booed when Sacaseni CSM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivan Nicolescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 67th minute Avram Oprișan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sever Paulescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Narcis Ogică didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 0-5 via right post in the game's 75th minute. Sacaseni CSM's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! With a little luck, Pocola's Costin Jilăveanu got control of the ball when Narcis Ogică tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Avram Oprișan in the 82nd minute of play forced Sacaseni CSM's goalkeeper Sever Paulescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 84 minutes into the game, Marius Tudose was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sacaseni CSM's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pocola the free kick. After a rather tough play, Pocola's Viorel Mustăcilă got a free kick in the 85th minute. Pocola's Costin Jilăveanu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Pocola from getting a goal against them. Pocola's Costin Jilăveanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Narcis Ogică in the 94th minute of play.
