Manuel Joldea struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Liviu Mortu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Galactic Fc. After having played for 16 minutes, Răzvan Ghimpu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Galactic Fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Răzvan Ghimpu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, rupe's Stelian Mitrofan got a free kick in the 17th minute. Liviu Mortu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Răzvan Ghimpu in the 22nd minute of the match. 25 minutes into the game, Sandu Baniu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dorin Drumeș. Sandu Baniu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. 33 minutes into the match, Galactic Fc's Horea Titulescu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Liviu Mortu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Răzvan Ghimpu in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Liviu Mortu saved rupe from getting behind. If Horea Titulescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Răzvan Ghimpu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 44th minute of the game. One of rupe:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Galactic Fc:s goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Horea Titulescu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Doru Şoimu during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Sandu Baniu hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Răzvan Ghimpu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 60thth minute, Liviu Mortu skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Liviu Mortu was out of position in the 65 minute of play, and Răzvan Ghimpu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Răzvan Ghimpu really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. If Lucrețiu Roşca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, rupe's Sandu Baniu got a free kick in the 74th minute. Stelian Mitrofan hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in rupe's zone, Horea Titulescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Liviu Mortu came out of the goal and Horea Titulescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 90th minute, Emanuel Milea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Liviu Mortu made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Răzvan Ghimpu sent off a good shot on target. Horea Titulescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Liviu Mortu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match was over Galactic Fc could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than rupe throughout the match.
